Service Description

Do you ever wish you could have a doula in your pocket? Well, now you can. This unique 1:1 Talk and Text Doula Support Service provides the family with support. Support could look like: - prenatal education - explaining tests and procedures during your prenatal care - encouragement on tough days - community referrals - normal postpartum healing information - baby care information - feeding assistance - sleep patterns - fourth trimester knowledge - baby wearing advice - suggestions for pets/other siblings to adjust to new baby - going back to work - finding a new normal with school/daycare and working and more! ------ What's so special about Talk & Text? 1. You don't have to be in our service area to have us on your support team 2. We do the research for you. No more sorting through Facebook Groups and Google 3. Reassurance, feedback, and non-biased information to help you make informed decisions or facilitate conversations with others You'll be matched up with a doula that has skills you're interested in, and a style that you enjoy. -------- To register - please pick the date you would like services to start. Register with the doula you'd like to work with for the day you'd like things to start! If you choose to book for one month your services will run for 30 days. If you'd like help starting services, just send us an email! sacredoulasdsm@gmail.com -------- Texting is available Monday-Friday 8am-6pm with a 4 hour window for response (it is often much faster), and within 24 hours during off hours. Talk & Text is NOT a replacement for a medical provider, and is only to be used for non-medical, normal pregnancy and postpartum, and Well Baby questions. If in doubt, we will refer you to your provider. This DOES NOT include labor support, or physical interaction. Support is only virtual and non-emergent/urgent in nature.

Cancellation Policy

Due to the nature of our work - our cancellation policy must include that we will potentially need to cancel at the last minute! If this is the case, we will contact you by text message and/or email as soon as possible. Late cancellations may be subject to a service fee, depending on the service type. However, life happens and we are extremely flexible. If you communicate with us, we will absolutely work with you!
